Pressing Instructions
- Print image in mirror mode and trim for easier positioning.
- Secure transfer paper to mug using heat resistant tape.
- Use snug pressure. The mug should not move inside the press, but avoid yanking the handle down hard, which can damage the element over time.
- Ensure mug press has reached proper temperature before inserting the mug.
- After pressing, remove the paper immediately and dunk mug in warm water.
- Let the mug cool and dry before handling.
Recommended Press Settings
Tested in our showroom by our own technicians, using Joto heat presses, original sublimation inks, and Joto sublimation paper.
- Temperature: 370°F (188°C)
- Time: 220 seconds
- Pressure: Snug, firm enough that the mug does not move inside the element
Results can vary slightly by machine. Test on a scrap mug first and adjust time and temperature within a small range to dial in your own setup.
