Pressing Instructions
- Remove the protective film from the metal panel.
- Place Nomex felt and silicone sheet on the heat press base.
- Pre-press the sublimation paper (face up) for 10–20 seconds to remove moisture.
- Position the printed sublimation paper face-up, then align the metal face-down on top.
- Tape them together using heat-resistant tape, then flip the sandwich (metal on top).
- Cover with polyester fabric.
- Press at 400°F (205°C) for 85 seconds using light pressure.
- Cool the panel on a flat cold surface for 2–3 minutes before removing the paper.
Important Notes
- Do not use Teflon sheets during pressing.
- Handle hot metal carefully to avoid burns or ghosting.
- Best used with a 30” x 40” heat press or larger.
