You actually print out your image, slightly larger than the button using either an inkjet printer or laser printer. Cut around the circle using a circle cutter (included with your button Press) cover it with a piece of plastic and on top of the round metal piece (also included) put it on one side of the button press, press. Then swivel the press around to the other side, insert the back of the button and pin, clamp down and the button now has an image on the front and a clip on the back.
