Pressing Instructions - Mug Press
- Unscrew the bottom of the travel mug and remove the black plastic insert
- Print your design in mirror mode on sublimation paper
- Tape the image securely to the metal insert (plastic parts removed)
- Set the mug press to 365°F (182°C) for 45 seconds using light pressure
- Ensure the press reaches temperature before inserting the metal insert
- After pressing, use gloves or a heat-resistant cloth to remove the insert
- Peel hot, allow to cool, then reassemble the travel mug
Caution: The metal insert becomes extremely hot during pressing. Do not handle with bare hands.
Pressing Instructions - Convection Oven
- Remove the plastic lid, bottom, and internal parts
- Attach imaged sublimation paper to the metal insert
- Place the mug inside a shrink sleeve and use a heat gun to contour the wrap
- Set oven to 400°F and bake for 12–15 minutes
- After baking, peel immediately and dunk in warm water
- Let it air dry before reassembly

Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I use this travel mug in the microwave or dishwasher? No. Due to the stainless steel construction and sublimation coating, it is not microwave or dishwasher safe. Hand wash only.
- Can I sublimate the mug without removing the insert? No. You must remove the plastic components and only sublimate the metal insert to prevent damage.
- Do I need a shrink sleeve for the oven? Yes. For convection ovens, we recommend using shrink sleeve P-SUB-SF-150195 for the best transfer quality.
- Can I use this with any mug press? Yes, as long as it fits 11oz/15oz elements and allows light pressure settings.
