HydrAton 1642
The HydrAton 1642 is a 64", dual-printhead, water-based UV roll-to-roll printer that introduces a new category of roll-to-roll printing. It is built around AQUAFUZE™ ink, a highly safe UV-curable water-based ink made using Fujifilm Group's proprietary technology for stable water dispersion of photopolymers. AQUAFUZE™ combines water-based safety with UV-level durability to deliver vibrant graphics, reduced environmental impact and reliable performance across interior graphics, signage, décor and specialty substrates.
Blending water-dispersed print chemistry with UV curing, the HydrAton 1642 produces prints with low odor and low VOCs, with no need for aggressive pre-coatings, making it suitable for sensitive environments. Two AccuFine HD print heads in a staggered configuration support high-density output and stable drop delivery, and the bundled MUTOH VerteLith™ RIP adds tiling, step and repeat, and bleed processing for full control over layout and print accuracy.
