Imaging Instructions

The printable side is the brighter white side, you will be able to distinguish the printable side when rubbed between your fingers that it has a smoother and waxy feel; as opposed to the backside where it's matte and slightly textured.

General Use:
  • Fabrics (100% polyester or special fabric for sublimation);
  • Specially coated ceramics, metals (super-hard polymer coating);
  • Mousepad material, coasters, slates
Printing:

When using SubliJet refer to the Sawgrass Print Manager Manual. If using Epson or another brand of ink, use the instruction manual provided from the vendor you purchased your ink from. All images should be MIRRORED unless specified.

Important! When the image is printed, it may look dull on the paper—this is normal. Trim the image to make it easier to position on your item. Secure your image to the object with heat tape to keep it from slipping or shifting. Protective plastic sheet on the insert must be peeled off
before use with sublimation. When pressing is done, open the press slowly and gently remove the object and remove
the paper (be careful not to let the paper shift across the surface of the object, or you may create a “ghost” image). When the object is removed from the press, just let it cool.

Heat Press Setup:

Pressing time may vary. Adjust according to your own press. In order to properly heat set your sublimation transfers, you will need to adjust some settings depending on what type of material you are transferring to.
